The Maiway weather station is a Davis Instruments wireless Vantage Pro2 weather system. This system consists of a solar powered instrument cluster mounted outside on a small tower and a weather system console in the home. The instrument cluster communicates wirelessly with the weather system console, which in turn downloads the data to a PC running the Davis WeatherLink software.  The WeatherLink software uploads the Maiway weather station data to the weather web pages every 10 minutes, and to the Weather Underground web site every 3 seconds.

The The Overlook (Weather Underground) link displays current conditions and historical information for the Maiway weather station on the Weather Underground web site, and the The Overlook (WeatherLink) llink displays Maiway conditions on the Davis WeatherLink web site.  The The Overlook Forecast displays the current forecast for The Overlook at River Crossing from the Weather Underground site.

Other Weather Links

The WunderMap link displays a map from the Weather Underground web site of personal weather stations, which can be used to search for nearby stations.  You may have to search for "Spring Branch" or the Maiway weather station ID (KTXSPRIN146) to position the map properly (remember to press "Save Prefs" to save your search).  This map is interactive and will update automatically every 30 seconds or so, and is very useful for viewing current and changing conditions around the area on one screen.

The two CoCoRaHS Map links display maps of volunteer weather observer reporting stations for each respective area.  Note that you can change the date parameter at the top of the screen and press the update button to view the data for other dates.  CoCoRaHS observers update the data for each station once per day, usually at 7AM.    The maps ares interactive and you can move to other locations if you wish.  Also listed is a link to the main web page for CoCoRaHS.

The Weather Data from iWetherNet.com link displays the home page for iWeatherNet.com.  Place your cursor over the "Weather Data" menu item to see a list of available informational weather pages, such as "Tropical Systems", "Total Rainfall Map", and others.
